Annual Conference and AGM, 13 May 2022
We’re delighted to announce the launch of our first ever Annual Conference for members and grant holders, which will take place in London on 13 May 2022.
The conference has been curated around the theme of ‘Building Resilience in Education’ and will be opened by BFSS President David Lammy MP. Featuring presentations, panels and round table discussions, it will explore the lasting effects of the pandemic and how young people’s education can be progressed in the new world we are now navigating.
After two years of remote working, the event will provide an opportunity for our members and grant holders to come together to network, share learning and work on future solutions together.
The day will be interactive, with all attendees having a chance to contribute their thoughts on virtual education, the wellbeing of young people, life after the FCDO cuts, and more.
The fully hybrid conference, which will take place immediately after our AGM, is open to all members and grant holders and virtual attendance is available for anyone who is unable to join us in person. We hope that it will enable us to bring together a community committed to helping us deliver BFSS’ vision of educational opportunity for all.
When: Friday 13 May, 10am-4pm
Where: America Square Conference Centre, 1 America Square, 17 Crosswall, London EC3N 2LB
