Resolve International is a UK based International Development charity working in Nepal.
With support from BFSS, Resolve International created 5 primary school library rooms including renovations, furniture and books, delivered training for teachers in library management, provided ongoing support to teachers and libraries, delivered training for 50 teachers in quality education, and held community workshops and meetings.
- On average, each child is checking out 2-3 books per month, with some students borrowing as many as five books per week.
- 100% of primary level teachers are using ‘Active and child friendly teaching’ in their classrooms.
- Reading skills have improved ranging from 10% to 100% compared from the beginning of the project.
