New grants awarded – October 2022

We received 94 applications for the October grants round.

Ten were accepted by the Grants Committee, three UK and seven international projects.

UK grants awarded:

  • Academy Transformation Trust – £30,114 over two years
  • The Why Not? Trust for Care Experienced Young People – £88,603 over three years
  • Carers Trust Hillingdon – £90,000 over three years

International grants awarded:

  • Advantage Africa – £40,000 over three years
  • Money for Madagascar – £60,000 over three years
  • Able Child Africa – £59,815 over two years
  • Feed the Minds – £58,333 over two years
  • Mondo Foundation – £29,550 over two years
  • Child Rescue Nepal – £59,904 over two years
  • Sub Saharan Advisory Panel – £60,000 over two years

The total amount of new awards recommended for the UK was £208,717 and for International it was £367,602. This brings our total spend on main fund grants in 2022 to £1,114,026 on 19 projects.

The deadline for our next round of UK and international Grants is 16 January 2023. If you wish to apply please submit your application as soon as it is ready rather than waiting for the deadline. Other key dates and details of our application process are on our website here.
